THE CHEF
Amelia Julio has been influenced by art at a very young age. She has found a way to meld the knowledge that she has gained through her education and experiences, with her passion for art, and has interpreted them through her cakes and pastries.
While working in the semiconductor industry in Oregon, she decided to change her career path. She relocated to Seattle where she attended The Art Institute of Seattle School of Culinary Arts and worked as a line cook at The Edgewater Hotel.
Subsequent to graduation, professional engagements preceded: Salty’s on Alki, Ovio Bistro, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Pastry Chef at Sorrento Hotel, and most recently, the Head Pastry Chef at the Arctic Club Hotel & Juno Restaurant.
